Summary: Almost impossible to read
Review: It is almost impossible to stay awake reading this book. The prose is extremely dry and long-winded. I've had much better luck with online legal research tutorials; because of the nature of the Web, the information is much more concise and readable.

Summary: Excellent New Edition
Review: This book is excellent and does not resemble the reviews for previous editions. I'm just getting into it, but questioned my professor for requiring it, until I read a few chapters and browsed through it and found it to be adequate, and more. The writing is clear and substantial and makes for easy and significant study.
