Summary: A wealth of informtion on emotion in the classroom setting.
Review: This book came out just before the term Emotional Intelligence was popularized, but it covers the same sort of issues, with the exception of the brain research. It is a good compliment to Peter Salovey's book "Emotional Development and Emotional Intelligence."

It is well written and fairly easy to read for an academic writing. It is very well supported with research findings. It presents a good model for developing an emotion centered curriculum.
