Summary: Only one remote for me!
Review: I have had this remote for a while now and it works with all my devices. I have Dish Network and it works just fine. I did have a probem at first though. For some reason when I was in the programming guide the exit button would not work. I e-mailed One For all and they sent me instructions to manually program the exit button to work in the menu guides. Also, It works with my reciever. I can even run through the radio presets with the channel buttons. The back light comes in real handy as well. When it is time to upgrade to another univeral remote I will go with One For All.

Summary: This remote is great
Review: Before getting this remote, I needed at least three universal remotes, all of which were needed, to run my home theatre system. My dish network receiver remote couldn't talk to my audio receiver, my audio receiver remote couldn't talk Dish, and my Tv, vcr, and older universal remote didn't talk to either of them. For some reason, Sony audio receivers and Dish network satellite receivers are hard to find remotes for.

It took about five minutes to get this remote to talk to all four of the systems. You can tell it that, in home theatre mode, the channel changer goes to your satellite box, the volume to your receiver, and the play/fast forward to your VCR or DVD player, without having to switch modes. You can also set up a macro key to turn everything on or off at the same time.

My only complaint with the remote is that it only has one macro key. It would have been much more useful to have had mroe than one, or to be able to use the macro key with other keys to build up multiple macros. That's a feature of their higher end remotes, though, so I can't complain too much.

Summary: Overall great product!
Review: I bought 2 of these and they are absolutely great. The backlit display makes it much easier to see the buttons instead of just feeling around and guessing. The only item it wouldn't work with is my SV2000 VCR (it is pretty old anyway and I am not sure what brand it is). My husband absolutely loves it and I can't get him to stop playing with it. :)

Summary: Best Universal Remote!
Review: If you don't feel like keeping up with all of your remotes..put them in a safe place and pull this out. It has tons of codes for your devices and it's much simpler to use then having to put all sorts of remotes in your hands.

Summary: Best Universal I've owned
Review: The best way I can describe this remote is by simply saying it's the best Universal remote that I've owned at a really fair price.

When I found myself with a busted DVD remote (Norcent DP300) I didn't want to wait for the replacement to arrive so I started to look for Universals. I found that none of the universals I looked at uncluded a code for this DVD player (even some new ones). I then ran into the OFA-URC6011 and found a solid solution. This remote is upgradeable, meaning that if your device's code is not on the list, it can be programmed!
There are no instructions on how to do this yourself, but you can always ask around or send it to OFA and have it returned fully programmed.

The lighted keys are a lifesaver for when you are clicking away in the dark, and the battery life is remarkable.
The only real complain I have about this remote is that the "Play,FFW,REW,PAUSE,STOP" keys look like plain keys and only have the small words displayed. Having the usual ">, >>, <<" drawings would have made them much easier to read/find.

I now control my TV, VCR, DVD and Stereo with it (with room for 2 more devices). Overall, it's a solid, versatile remote with capabilities to grow with you!

Summary: Great when it works
Review: The good stuff first: This remote works with most all brands out there, and the one thing I had that it didn't work with (a Sony VCR), I was able to let it find the right code itself, and it worked great. The button layout is very simple and easy to understand; however, the power button would be better placed near the device switching buttons. It also allows you to make some functions global. For example, I have mine set up to allow the volume on the tv to change for every button except the stero button.

Now the bad news. I am on my second remote because after about 6-8 months the most used buttons tend to wear out and are not usable. On my first remote it was that arrow buttons. On the second remote, it is the volume and power buttons that have worn out.
