Summary: Very Satisfied
Review: First of all the product itself is very expensive.... This is mainly because the antenna has a small remote control you adjust the reception with. This feature is sort of neat, but its not enough to make up for the poor performance of the item. Basically, the item will improve reception on a handful of channels. For me these channels were the ones closest to my house (I can get these channels with any antenna. I didn't need to spend over 100 Canadian dollars to get those channels). I also noticed that those channels I should be getting fuzzy reception on where actually made worse by this antenna. Then I moved to the USA and had the same problem at my apartment there. The last straw was noticing all 7 people in my apartment building getting better reception than me (one of the guys was using a early 1980's antenna held together by masking tape). So, I bought a much cheaper antenna that had good reviews and now I get great reception. This antenna system sits collecting dust in a box never to be used again. If you enjoy wasting money, buy this antenna. If you want improved reception, buy ANYTHING else. I'm sure what ever you buy will be better than this one and will cost you less at that.

Summary: good theory, disappointing in practice
Review: Here's a nifty new concept: create an antenna where the optimal settings for each station are recorded and preset and can be accessed by memory remote, add on an adjustable amplifier to tune in weak signals and tune down overly strong signals, all in one package. Great ideas. I live in Boston and have only a handful of viewable stations w/the antenna that came w/my TV. I thought this device would help me gain a few more.

I set up the antenna as per the manual and did a head to head test comparing this new device with my old antenna. I then viewed the reception on each channel by first viewing it with the Jensen antenna, then removing the coax cable and replacing it with the old atenna, taking care to not move either the Jensen or the TV.

Results: marginal improvement in picture quality in 2 stations, but LOSS of ability to view channel 10 with the Jensen. In addition, I was unable to pick up ANY additional stations.

My conclusion: the Jensen probably is of questionable benefit in urban settings. How it performs in rural settings remains for others to determine.

Summary: Needs a lot of space might be difficult to hook up &unneeded
Review: I bought this antenna with the idea of using it on a newly purchased TV in my bedroom, thought it might help pull in a weak station or two. My TV is a little 14 inch Toshiba and let me tell you, that TV on a standard chest of drawers with this antenna on top will not work.
During the process of installation it was plain to see that for proper operation you'd better have it out in the room on some low level place because the aerials when fully extended are 42 inches in length. When those things are fully extended they need so much room to spread out and do their turning (in order to get the best reception for each channel)that I simply didn't have room for them. I also found that the instructions don't allow for the simultaneous hookup of the antenna, a VCR, and a satellite dish to the TV. I found that very inconvenient and senseless because so many people have those very things and want them all hooked up(it can be done my brother in law says).
I'll be sending it back to the business I got it from. I'm suspicious that if you can't see anything at all from a station with an ordinary antenna that this one won't do the job either.

Summary: Very Satisfied
Review: I bought this antenna, along with the 15-1880 model from Radio Shack ($49.95), and the Terk HDTVi ($39.95). The Terk received only 3 channels (2 HD), and the Radio Shack received 12 channels (8 HD). The Jensen received 22 channels (10 in HD). It also helps that I found this antenna from HH Gregg for only $39.99. So far, I am very pleased. My HD reception is incredible.

Summary: What a great idea!
Review: I have always wanted to have a remote controlled antenna. It is a relief that FINALLY it is available for sale! Now when I need to change channels, I do not have to get up from my comfy couch to get good reception. I just love it! And it actually works.

Summary: It's about time....
Review: The Jensen TV940 replaces a settop antenna that would bring in TV stations from RI and NH, but two local stations were beyond its capability. This new antenna has solved my problem and am now able to watch channels 4 and 5 in Boston. I was amazed to find this remote controlled programmable unit yesterday...what took so long??? Just about everything else is remotely controlled...why not the settop antenna??? It's about time!!! What convenience...what luxury...a couch potato's dream come true. Thank you Jensen!!!!

Summary: Everything I expected...
Review: This indoor antennae provides great indoor reception in a very convenient manner--best antennae I've ever come across, matter of fact. The remote that came with it has a weak signal, so I programmed it into my universal remote, and voila!, now I get to be an even lazier couch potatoe!

Summary: Great antenna! But you have it in the wrong category!
Review: This is a great product. A remote controlled TV ANTENNA which actually stores the location of its rods for each channel! It makes zapping very easy, indeed!
