Rating: Summary: One of the finest books of Hawaiian photography. Review: I was amazed at the number of moods this book captures around the theme of light using ocean, sky, and lava. Each page evokes a different emotional response. A truely excellent collection.

Rating: Summary: One of the finest books of Hawaiian photography. Review: This is one of the finest books of Hawaiian photography, however, don't look for touristy types of photographs of famous places. The book shows water, earth, air and fire, Hawaiian style. The photographs are sublime and eternal. The book is quiet and unassuming, the photographs tell the story. There is a description of all the photographs in the back of the book that tells the details the photographer has focused on. These details are not immediately apparent or even noticed in the photographs on a first look-through, and make the book all the more interesting.
