Rating: Summary: Not as good as the others.... Review: I got this entire series for my birthday, and i must admit that they were quite good, but not as good as the other series Pierce has written. I highyly recommend Song of the Lioness and The Immortals series. I sincerely miss Tortall, maybe she should stick to that realm.
Rating: Summary: A Wonderful book Review: I think the Circle of Magic series is totally unique and fascinating. I loved the characters, and ideas. The plots weren't all I could hope for, but I loved it when the four kids interacted, and actually talked to eachother. Especially when Sandry and Briar talked together, because they are my two favorite characters. All in all, this is a must read wonderful series.
Rating: Summary: Great new world and characters!! Review: I loved this book! It was exiting and fun to read, as all of Tamora's books are. I think that she could do better for titles because all of the books in the series are about all of the characters, not one book for each. I didn't mind the way she jumped from one character to the next, except for time. Even Niko can't be in four different places rescuing four different children at the same time!!! I don't really like the symbol that was used for Sandry, but if you look at it , you could, by stretching a little, interpret it as the end of a bit of thread. Sure it isn't Tortall, it's different! I love Alanna and Daine and the others, but I like Sandry, Tris, Daja, and Briar just as much. I guess I'm satisfied with anything Tamora writes. I haven't yet read the second half of this quartet, but I've read some of the reveiws and I think that a romance in this series is dumb. (Unless it's two minor characters, not the main four. Niko and Lark, for example.) They're just kids! Besides, it would almost certainly have an adverse effect on the unity of the group, which I think ought to stay evenly friends. I would like Tamora to write more about Tortall, Winding Circle, and any other worlds she dreams up!
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Begining Review: This is an exelent start to Pierce's new set of books. I loved all the children and how they finnal learned to trust eachother. My favorite one was Daja and I realy could tell how she felt. This is an exelent book!!
Rating: Summary: pretty disapointing Review: This book had a good plot and characters, but Ms. Peirce should have kept on writing about Daine and Numair, I hope her next series will be better.
Rating: Summary: Not that good, but nice try Review: I understand how the author decided to create a new world...I loved Tortall, but it got kinda repetative and dull, this new world was very different and original but not the best that it could have been.
Rating: Summary: An excellent adenture! Review: This is an excellent book with adventure, excitment, and friendship. I've read all of Tamora Pierce's books (except Briar's Book) and I loved them all. I liked Tortall and would have liked to see what happens to Daine and Numair, but the Winding Circle Temple is just as good! Read this book!
Rating: Summary: Great, But Tortall was better Review: This book was great, but its not Tortall. I think you learn more about Briar than anyone else. It really is a good book, don't get me wrong, I mean it has really REALLY INTERESTING magics. The book was kind of confusing. I had to read it twice before I really understoon evrey thing. Dedicate Rosethorn is the hardest to understand out of all the Winding Circle Temple characters. My favorite Character is Tris because of her unwillingness to trust anyone. Like me. Daja is very defensive and wary. Briar is- oh, shall we say, outspoken. Sandry is outgoing and friendiy and BRAVE. All in all, it was a very clever book.
Rating: Summary: The Original was better!! Review: I have not read all of the new circle of magic book. But I did read all of the Lioness Quartet and the Immortals and they blew these away. I couldn't get into the story. Ms. Pierce should stick to Tortall and King Jonathan. I will still hold out hope that she will return to Tortall and Alanna during her next books. Better luck next time.
Rating: Summary: Good and not disapointing Review: The book was good and the series shows promise. I did not like the first book as much as I liked some of the other books that Tamora Pierce has writen. I will eagerly read the rest of the books.
