Review: This small, unassuming book is full of some of the best nature writing by some of the best naturalist writers of our time. The format is small enough to fit in the back pocket of your jeans for easy hiking companionship. I plan to use this in the middle school where I teach, as source of inspiration to teenagers on our hiking trips. Small illustrations and brief descriptions of the authors lives would have been nice additions.
