Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Funny, easy read
Review: An environmentalist with common sense and a sense of humor. Fun reading.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Funny, funny, funny. I loved it!
Review: Morine is no stuffy, holier than thou conservationist. He describes the business of land conservation as it really is -- one hilarious misadventure after another. This collection of delightfully humorous short stories is truly a bucketful of good dirt.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Funny, but sexist
Review: The book is indeed funny, in many of the stories, but the humor fails to cover up Morine's bitterness concerning his time with the Nature Conservancy. He also comes across as very sexist and an unjustifiable know-it-all. I was disappointed and amused at the same time. This is not a book for idealistic environmentalists! Makes for good bathroom reading.
