Summary: Great to read on days with no "weather" action.
Review: This is a great overview of weather features. It is a bit light on the underlying meteorlogical principles, but this also makes it very readable. Also, this is a very good historical reference for weather patterns and records. It covers all of the areas of Texas quite well, and has the data to back it up. On the down side, the book is getting a bit dated. The third edition will hopfully include newer, more detailed photos as well as content on newer weather theories e.g. tornados, hurricanes, etc. A must read for every Texas weather fan!
