Review: I read a lot of nature books, and this one stands out as one of the best I've read in a long time. Chuck Fergus' plainspoken and wise words made me want to take a long hike in the woods. I especially loved his description of the sounds of the "chorus" at a pond on a warm spring evening. It made for perfect reading on a chilly February day. You're sure to love it.
