Review: I am a beginning bird watcher. This common sense, straight- forward book contained exactly the information I needed to get started. It is not a field guide, but a simple plan for taking up a delightful pastime. The regional check lists in the back of the book are excellent. I highly recommend Getting Started in Birdwatching to anyone who wishes to start this hobby but doesn't want to be overwhelmed with too much complex information. A great resource!
