The author has a way with words that will take you along as he pursues turkeys in his home state of Kentucky as well as Florida, South Carolina, Texas, and many more. Rating: Summary: Good as it gets! Review: As you work your way thru the book, The book paints a vivid picture from chapter to chapter, and does a great job of describing the emotions you go thru during the hunt, and the spring season itself. Tim's writings closely capture the conversations and story telling that goes on at the coffee shops, local hangouts, even when meeting up in the turkey woods. You can almost imagine sitting on a log with thermos of coffee during a mid morning break while the story is being told, and while you wait for the birds to start gobbling again!
Rating: Summary: Turkey huntin' from a truly addicted soul Review: Enjoyed this book immensely. Just good ol campfire tales of wild turkey huntin' with a little righteous opinions thrown in, most of which I agree wholeheartedly. He's one fine fellow in my book and could share my turkey woods anyday.
Rating: Summary: Whether a beginner or seasoned pro, this book is a must read Review: If you're a master turkey hunter Tim will strike a cord that can only be felt from years of experience. If you were new to the sport you'd be doing yourself a favor to read it now. Because what Tim has been able to put into words sooner or later you'll experience it first hand in the turkey woods. When you read this book it's like sitting down and talking to an old friend, the pains, triumphs but most of all the memories. Great reading.

Rating: Summary: Great Book, Highly Recommend Review: This book will bring you almost as close to a turkey hunt as actually being there. The author paints a picture of the emotion and environment on each hunt. Once I picked the book up I never set it down until I read every page. This book interested me because the evolution of a turkey hunter is real and I could relate. I also picked up several good tips and viewpoints on hunting the elusive turkey. This book differs than other turkey hunting books I have read. Most were how-to books that get quite boring. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat and dying to get to the next page to see what happens next, along with some helpful tips that I will definitely use the next time I'm in the spring turkey woods. I can't wait until the author writes another!

Rating: Summary: Great turkey hunting stories, including accidental tips Review: Tim does a great job avoiding a lecture, an instruction manual or a PhD discertation with this book. He simply tells very enjoyable turkey hunting stories, and inadvertantly, gives lots of great insight and tips on the sport. I recommend this book to novice turkey hunters, experts, or those just interested in a great read. You will really enjoy this book. It is an easy read, with plenty of action to keep your attention.
