Summary: Look elsewhere
Review: Despite it's unusual layout and artful cover, this book comes across as a personal photo album. The snippets of saguaro lore do not justify the relatively high price, and the photography, while good, is defeated by the vertical format. Perhaps a better investment would be Carl Hodge's "All About Saguaros", which is referenced in the bibliography.

Review: If you are at all interested saguaros, this is a great book to start with. The unusual book size (4 1/2" x 10 1/2") nicely showcase the photos and accentuate the towering size of the cacti.
