Review: I found this book to be incredibly well written, bursting at the seams with imagry and science. Sy Montgomery brings to the table a mixture of "common man's" love for something simply beautiful as well as a scientists need to know the reasons why. She delicately weaves in native stories told by people indigenous to the areas she visited with a scientifically justified look at an elusive species. All this is done while painting a beautiful portrait about life in the amazon basin. This was an amazing book that made me want to read everything she's written.
