Summary: This book is too technical
Review: I found this book a little too technical. They have a lot of pictures of fish disections to show the effects of disease. I would rather just have a book with pictures of sick fish that are still alive. I need that sort of info to figure out what my fish may have.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent primer on fish diseases
Review: I found this book an excellent primer for anyone interested in fish diseases. The author writes mainly from a veterinary pathologist's perspective rather than an aquarium hobbyist. It covers all the major groups of fish pathogens in a clear and concise manner and is chock full of colour photos and drawings. The section on fish examination and post-mortems is excellent. It also has short blurbs on non-pathogenic diseases and drugs. I found the differential diagnosis section for various symptoms most helpful. The content value of this little book far outweighs its price.
