Admittedly, the price of his yacht, if built today, would be a bit higher, but perhaps not in real dollars. Peter Tripp, a retired master mariner, marine draftsman and an artist with a perfect eye for a sweet sheerline, illustrated the book. It belongs on a sailer's shelf right alongside "Riddle of the Sands", and Joshua Slocum.
