Rating: Summary: BORING! Review: I had the impression the images and the process were unique and creative. In fact, the transferred photos are very very ordinary. In contrast, I also got China Blossoms notecards by Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. They are incredible! Imagine the best of the impressionists painting blossoms oriental-style. The photos available at Amazon do not do justice to the quality of the artwork.

Rating: Summary: Blossoms Note Cards by Deborah Schenck Review: This lovely selection of notecards became my favorite the first time I saw it. Deborah Schenck, the photographer, has used a process called Polaroid transfer to parchment paper to produce an elegant, antique-looking image that reminds me of delicate watercolor florals. I have adopted these cards as my personal cards. I don't have to look for cards for birthdays, Mother's Day, weddings or condolences because I have my BLOSSOMS. This selection comes in a set of 20 cards and envelopes. There are five images, four cards of each. The five images are poppies, iris, roses, tulips, and calla lilies. Last year I sent one of the calla lily cards, with a present, to a friend. She wrote me that she loved the card and was planning to have it framed. This year I'm sending her a box of the cards as her gift!
