Summary: This book is a great read, perfect for fantasy fans!
Review: An exceptional work, Tris's Book will capture your interest at once- it did mine. The hard-hearted Trisana lights up a bit and truly comes through for her friends- and enemies. Very nice, worth every penny.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Absolutely Enchanting
Review: Even if you're the most picky reader, you'll LOVE this book. It puts you in it's own spell and you can't put it down until you finish. No matter if you're 8 or 80, you will not regret reading this wonderful book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A great continuation!
Review: I found this book was even better than the last one! This book is mostly centered on Tris, the weather witch (hence the title). When pirates attack Winding Circle, the four children are very scared. The pirates definitely have an advantage, and things get quite dangerous. This book definitely has a darker air to it, but it also contains more action and a greater understand of Winding Circle and the young mages' magic.

Overall, I think this book is excellent, and even though I had some doubts about this series after reading Sandry's Circle, they have now vanished. I hope Daja's Book will be as good as, if not more, then Tris's Book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent, Tris is a great character
Review: I love this, and it's not even my favorite from COM. I think Tris is the character that intrigues me the most, although I could never have a favorite from among the four. This book has lots of magic, a lot about pirates, enough about birds, and an interesting family tie that Tris had nearly forgotten. I love the part in the harbor with Daja and Frostpine best, but the final battle with the pirate fleet nearly tops that. Buying this book would be a good idea, as long as you had the rest of the seires. Owning only one of a series is very frusterating... trust me.

Summary: brilliant series by a brilliant author
Review: I loved all of Tamora Pierce's series, except this one. I suggest reading Protector of the Small Series, or the Song of the Lioness Quartet. They were my favorite series.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: An excellent follow up!
Review: If you thought Sandry's Book was good, you'll love Tris's Book! If anything, it's far better than the first one, with a lot more stuff happening, and the characters well fleshed out. Still, if it's an action filled fantasy thriller you're looking for, you won't find it here. This is a mainly character driven story without a lot of different things going on at once. Anyway, pirates have begun attacking Winding Circle in the aftermath of the devestating earthquake, while Tris's cousin Aymery appears, with a message from the family who rejected and ignored Tris, begging her to return to the side of her dying father. I won't say anything else to avoid spoiling the story, but trust me, this is a great book, good for kids of all ages, particularly the 9 to 12 age range. Older kids may feel a bit cheated reading a book about a bunch of ten year olds, but the author's skill got me over it quickly and I urge any fan of Tamora Pierce, young or old, to give this series a try.

Summary: Tris's Book
Review: This book I would have to say was my favorite of all of them. It had lots of action and emotion, Though I do not read alot of books I read this series and can't wait to read more.
This book is about four kids (Sandry, Tris, Daja, and Briar)who's magic blede into each others after Sadry had combind them in an Earth quake. They now shared some abilities with one another. They now had a great adventure that lyes ahead that has death, Pirets and a new wepon. They work together to save their new home from the Pirets and the new wepon.

Summary: adventuorus~ you really get into it.
Review: This book is about a mage named tris. shes a weather witch who lives at winding circle temple. she also happens to live with two other girls, daja and sandrilene and a boy named briar.
In this book she seems less like a snob and more like a pesron who you could learn alot from. in this book they end up starting off in a humid summer cranky and still unsure of their magical powers.from the verry beginning i think tris knew that something was wrong but inside she just didnt want to believe cause she was scared i mean hey if i was 12 and i was being attacked by pirats heck id be scared to wouldnt you? but this book is really worth your while, its a journey in the eyes of a 12 yr old mage who is getting hit hard with the realities of the "REAL world" . but in the end guess who gets the best of it? youll have to read to find out. hope this helps you out a little bit.

Summary: An Excellent Book
Review: Tris' Book is a book about a girl, who has recently discovered that she has powerful mage power, and her 3 close friends. They live at the Winding Circle Temple, which has recently received damage from an Earthquake. Unsettling things begin to happen, and it becomes clear that something is amiss and danger threatens Winding Circle. The danger comes in the form of Pirates, who are taking advantage of Winding Circle's wounded state. A cousin from the Family that cast Tris out shows up, and advises her to return home, but Tris is fiercly determined to fight for and protect the only place that she has ever felt at home, with her equally powerful friends right beside her.

This book has more action than the first book in the Circle of Magic series, and the ending, in my opinion, is more satisfying. This book allows more exploration of the characters, because introductions do not need to be made, allowing for a greater story line. It is definitely worth your while to read, I quite enjoyed it. I would give it about a 4 and one half star rating, but there is no half so I am giving it 4.

Summary: Weather Witch!
Review: Tris' book is the second best in the series (Brair's being the best) and is a book you must read. When pirates attack winding circle, the only home to the four mages in training Sandry, Daja, Tris, And Briar, they have come with a new weapon. How will the four fight to protect the only home that they have been accepted in?

this is a book that has it's own unique plot filled with unforgetable characters. In this book, I found that the description of tris's past to be interesting and strange in the sense that her family are so mean. I can say that the end is good and the text will keep you reading. I give this five stars because I not only love all of Tamora Pierce's books, but I think that this book has a wonderful way of describing things that happen in her world, and in the real world with the added push of magic and a new language. If you like smart-mouthed red heads that have unsettling ways with the weather, then this book is for you. So if your looking for an good book, then you have found one in this!!!!! I truly believe that this series is the best, and Tris's book is one of them that earns it it's name!
