I highly recommend it to anyone who is experiencing difficulties physically and emotionally as it is uplifting and such an encouragement! Russell's ability to overcome this tremendously difficult period in his life is remarkable. I only wish there was a sequel to the book as I would love to know more about his photography and the aftermath of his success. The book is a light hearted approach to a most serious situation allowing the reader to appreciate and value man's will to survive. The author, his wife, has a wonderful sense of humor and evoked curiousity and wonder for the tiniest of birds... the hummingbird! I highly recommend the book to children and adults alike who desire to learn the success of determination!
