Review: This book is filled with lovely art by the author Lucille Parker! Each page has a beautifully done painting of the plant, as well as its name. I spent two years looking for an alternate name for a local plant known to us as the "Mamou bush". I had finally given up my search. Then one day I was perusing a local bookstore's shelves and I found this artistic essay--lo and behold, there was my Mamou bush, with it's other name! I recommend this book to anyone who has an avid interest in Southern wildflowers and loves good art too!
