Summary: Thinking ... but not only about fly fishing
Review: Mr. Luce has done a fine job of extending the fishing metaphor into a study of life and classical philosophy.Don't let that description deter you from reading this fine book. It is accessible and thoughtful on so many levels that I frequently pick it up and open to a page at random just for the insight I can draw from that random passage. If Norman MacLean's father had put pen to paper (and if he was not as dogmatic as Norman MacLean paints him), this might have been his take on the world, fishing and morality. A great addition to any library.
