Review: The day after I read Paul Leet Aird's Loon Laughter, Ecological Fables and Nature Tales, I left my suburban home in Pennsylvania, drove north to the Pocono Mountains, parked my car, laced up my hiking shoes and walked. I got lost. I loved it. The experience could only have been improved if I had been in Aird's Canada woods. Thoreau MacDonald's loving illustrations complimented a charming book. (By the way...as far as we know, we have no relation to each other!)
