Review: Miles Potter takes the reader on a historically accurate and very intriguing journey through Oregon's Gold Rush Years. Mr. Potter discusses not only the gold mining history, but how these events influenced the development of Oregon, and helped shape it into the state that it is today. Mr. Potter's only omission is that he gives just a passing mention to the minor Central Cascade Mountain Range gold strikes. However, the book more than makes up for that by it's excellent coverage of the major gold fields. Excellent Reading for anyone interested in History or Mining.
