Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A good book exploring the ecology of fresh water fishes.
Review:

I bought my copy when I took Dr. Diana's class in college. I liked it very much. It deals mostly with behavior and ecology of fishes common to the midwest (Mich.,Wisc. & parts of Ontario).

I was disappointed that it did not go further in depth about the physiology and anatomy of fishes.

Over 400 pages with plenty of graphs and charts to help explain his ideas and concepts. A few drawings and B&W photos as well. I recommend this book.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: a good book...and the price is about half that of others.
Review: This is a good review of the biology/behavior/ecology of fishes. About right for college students and people working in the field who want an update on the topic. The author's writing style is very understandable.
