Summary: Useful Book for Teaching
Review: This is a very evenhanded description of current issues surrounding whaling and I have found it useful in teaching a course on maritime policy issues with undergraduates. It is light on theory but not without a solid foundation and includes useful appendicies. It contains one or two small errors, like mistaking odontoceti for mysteceti.
