Over 100 incidents are described with the entries averaging 2-3 pages. There are some black and white photos. Also included are items such as "how to survive an earthquake", "protecting youself during a fire", "el nino", "active volcanoes in the United States", "seismic waves" etc. Glossary and index included. An informative, concise volume although due to the cost, you might have to be satisfied with browsing the book in your local library.
