Review: The authors explain the historical background and current situation of persistent organic pollutants in an easy to understand manner. They use many figures and examples of scientific studies on environmental pollutants. This book gives the reader a great background of important issues concerning POPs in the environment and I would recommend it to everybody who is interested in the subject.
