Summary: Creative and Fresh
Review: This book is not only helpful to parents, but also to people who don't have children. I am around children all the time and on occasion I have ran out of diapers. This book gave me some ideas for making a diaper until I was able to go to the store and purchase disposable ones. The information about diaper services, powders, covers, and laundering are very helpful. It's amazing how many ways you can save money and still have the best for your baby. I would recommend this book to any new parent or anyone thinking of having children. I have never seen another book like this, and I would love to see another one from this author.

Summary: Fantastic Resource!
Review: This is a great book! For anyone wondering how cloth diapering works, this book explains how easy it is. From diaper services to homewashing, Farrisi tells all. I've used a number of her ideas, and ordered from the sources she recommends. (You haven't diapered until you've used organic blue diapers!:)) Lots of great suggestions, experiences, and resources.

Review: When baby number 4 came along, we decided to go with cloth diapers. Reading Diaper Changes has actually solidified our commitment. The information on the benefits of cloth are great, and the resource listings are really wonderful. I am currently using the suggestion to recycle old wool sweaters into old fashioned soakers, and loving it!! This book is a must for every parent, no matter how many kids they have had!! I wish I had had it before my first was born almost 9 years ago!!

Summary: A labor of love, from my heart to your family!
Review: Why write a book on diapers? It all started when I began roughing out some outlines for articles I had planned to write for Motherwear's PARENTING FROM THE HEART magazine, where I was thinking, "I'll do an article on weaning, on household organization, on diapering....". Well, no sooner had I got my ideas down than I realized I had something pretty meaty here-- maybe a whole BOOK? Who, I had to wonder, ever heard of a book on diapering? Little did I realize how much information was out there, but not codified into one easy-to-use, handy resource. DIAPER CHANGES is meant to be a workhorse, a tool to find something you are looking for, to answer questions, to give philisophical reflection, to inform, to encourage parents to be the very best they can be, and enjoy every minute of it-- to saturate your family life with the enjoyment of both parenthood and the precious children who are the cause of all those diaper changes!
I wanted this book to really meet parents needs, to answer questions, to be something truly useful, rather than just one of many trendy books you look at a bit and it ends up back on your shelf. I wanted this to be something parents could turn to before the first baby comes, and with each subsequent child-- in case needs or circumstances change. So I carefully thought out all the elements which make a useful book, and how I could relate all these details to diapering. And by the looks of comments I read and hear everywhere, I did it!
It has not been easy authoring and self-publishing DIAPER CHANGES-- in fact I feel it has been as intense a committment as all my years in college-- but I knew I had an idea and a purpose and that both expectant parents and parents into "alternative" methods and lifestyles would both be grateful for what I pulled together here. My children were and are my inspiration for this project, and it is to them that I dedicate every endeavor related to this from past to future.
