Summary: Poor visuals and out of date styles
Review: I was not impressed with the quality of this book. The instructions are informative and easy to follow but the headpiece designes are out of date. The pictures are hand drawn and do not capture the instructions they are depicting. I have learned about the steps and general techniques of veil making after reading this book. However, I think color photos and updated designes would be helpful.

Summary: Thanks to this book, I can truly say "I Do" Veils"!
Review: I've had this book for quite a while now, and used it to make beautiful veils for two nieces and three of my daughter's friends. Since it first came out when headpieces and veils were more elaborate than they are today, you can find the directions for just about any headpiece and trimming there is. The illustrations and directions are very clear, and you can always simplify the ideas to make the plainer veils that brides like now. By the way, the last one I made cost just $18.00 to make, so the bride saved over $100.00!

Summary: Great book to start with if you have no idea of how-to
Review: The book covers almost all different kinds of "head decoration" styles. And it's great to show how to do it if you have no idea where to start! Of course, practice makes perfect!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Easy to read and bolsters your confidence
Review: The illustrations are very clear and make improvisation possible. This book helped me save hundreds of dollars on my own veil - without anyone guessing that I made it myself! With very little sewing background, I owe it all to the book.

Summary: Great attention to detail for creating veils and headpieces
Review: This book is wonderful! In the beginning, a long materials list describes all of the materials with some drawings. Then the good parts: the book details step by step how to create a bunch of veils and all types of headpieces! All the pictures in the book are drawings and it works out great! I recommend it to anyone not wanting to pay the ridiculous prices (I actually saw a veil for $650.00!!) for a store bought veil that is easy to make with the book. PS- Once you know the type of veil you want to make, go back to the veil store and see how they made it- it will help tremendously!! Enjoy!!

Summary: Very Helpful and Informative Indeed!!
Review: This is a terrific way for brides-to-be, to save themselves money and add that extra special touch to their very special day! The drawings are truly wonderful and very helpful, even if you are not a very crafty person. Even after my own wedding, I have made 2 more veils for friends who have gotten married, and this was my wedding present to them. This added that extra personal touch! I recommend this for all brides. Enjoy this one, it's great!!

Summary: If you don't know what you want, it's ALL here!
Review: WOW, this book is an amazing overview with step by step instructions on every kind of headpiece available. It definately gets you off to a great start, tells you all the materials you need to do it, and do it right!
