Rating: Summary: A book linking child development to higher consciousness Review: The intention in writing this book was to give an overview of the developmental process from birth to higher consciousness. The first part of the book outlines the mental, emotional and physical growth stages as put forth in western developmental psychology. It further talks about how this development can be enhanced or if it is interupted or delayed, some techniques that can put it back on track. The second part of the book is dedicated to the stages of higher consciousness as set forth in Vedic psychology. These stages, although they appear mystical from any previous stage are a natural part of the developmental blue print that anyone can grow to experience. This is a book for adults to look at the developmental process for themselves and their children. It is a road map to give understanding to our mental, emotional, physical & spiritual experiences which link child development to higher consciousness. Anyone who has read the "Celestine Prophecy" will find the developmental stages of the "insights" expressed in this book. Author John Gray (Men are from Mars) says, "This book sets the platform for working with relationships at the highest level." Author Susan Skog (Embracing Our Essence) says, "I have read books on develpment and books on consciousness, but I have not found the two combined to give a vision for my children's growth and an inspiration for my soul." Dr. Cheryl Thompson Beckett, author
