Rating: Summary: Room for improvement Review: After great expectation, I found the book disappointing. Much of it was in the book's preparation. It is poorly illustrated, often making it difficult to understand what is being depicted. It has dozens of typos and grammatical errors. I also found many of the entries uneven in terms of coverage and depth, and in some cases, such as with alternative sexuality, naive. At times the book attempts to be dryly factual and at other times it editorializes. Some of the book has been "translated" into American English and some of it hasn't, sometimes mixing spelling of words on the same page -- very confusing, particularly with medical terms! I did learn a few things from the book.
Rating: Summary: This book is a lifetime personal manual book. Review: Nobody was born complete with a manual book. I bought this book years ago and keep it in sight until now. This book tells us not only about parts of our body from hair to feet, but also psychology aspect, sexuality, diet, etc. Its content in each topics is very deep and clear. Everytime I have question about health or something regarding to body, this book is the first I read. I can even refer my friends when they have that kind of problems. Undoubtedly, this book is a lifetime personal body reference!!!
