  Summary: Complete Waste of Money
Review: Finally, a book for new or "experienced" parents with no, little, or high imaginations! Being a parent is the most importaant job anyone can have, and this book helps make it even more rewarding! I discovered this hidden treasure while browsing through Amazon's book selections, and I thought that it may make a wonderful addition to my parenting book collection. It is completely interactive. The parent is blessed with a huge selection of quick and educationally profitable activities for newborns to one year-olds. Songs, finger games, poems, daily bedtime or bathtime rituals and other activities are demonstrated and what benefit it gives you child is written at the bottom of the page: language skills, balance, and bonding just to name a few. A must-have for parents of infants!

  Summary: Complete Waste of Money
Review: I bought this book thinking that it would provide me with great ideas for activities to play with my baby and after reading it, I quickly returned it. I would have rated it zero stars but that was not an option. The book is filled with unimaginative "games" to play with babies (e.g., sing a lullaby to your infant at bedtime). If you have a little bit of creativity or imagination you can come up with better activities than the ones mentioned in this book. Don't waste your money.

  Summary: A wonderful book.
Review: I was shocked to see that someone gave this book 1 star- this book is excellent. It is well organized with games grouped in sequence from age 0-3 months upto 9-12 months. There are about 20 games for each age group. Each page has a different game, an easy to understand description, and tells you exactly what skill(s) it will help develop. I found this book creative and insightful, and had ideas I wouldn't have thought of on my own. I am putting this on my wish list for when I have kids of my own.

Summary: Finally, a WELL-ORGANIZED idea book!
Review: Just as a I said: Finally, a well-organized idea book! I can look up activities to carry out in my classroom by category (Bath and Dressing Games, Going to Sleep Games, etc.); by age (0-3, 3-6, 6-9, and 9-12 months); AND by theme (just for fun, colors, etc.). The activities are simple and clearly described in one page each. But they are not all commonsense ideas, or I wouldn't like this book, and neither would any other experienced under-threes teacher :p. I HIGHLY recommend this book to under-threes teachers and to new parents.
