Summary: This book won the top career book of the year award
Review: I am this book's author and think it worthwhile to note that this book won the Publisher's Marketing Association's "Best Career Book of the Year" award. This was a surprise for me since this is a workbook that includes text with lots of in-the-book activities rather than a typical bookstore book that is almost all text. This is the fourth edition, so it has been carefully improved over time and has had excellent editorial and design work. It has now sold more than 400,000 copies, a most flattering and humbling situation for me.

Review: This book is worth buying. It has very practical advice and a system about how to go about a job search in the non traditional way. I would also recommend Richard Bolles' What Color is Your Parachute and Howard Figler's The Complete Job Search Guide.
