Summary: Great book.
Review: I found this book very helpful. I am editor of a non-profit membership newsletter. Grassroots Journalism had useful tips on writing and editing techniques.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: great book
Review: I read this book and I agree with the people who praised the book on the back cover: some of the nation's top journalism professors (like Robert McChesney of the Univ. of Illinois and William Serrin of NYU); Ralph Nader; and Dr. Michael Rotkin, the three-time mayor of Santa Cruz, Calif.

This is the ultimate guide for alternative journalists!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great book reading
Review: I recently heard Williams speak about this book on New Hampshire Public Radio (the interview is online at www.nhpr.org). I went to the book reading in Keene. It was very inspiring. I bought this book. Well worth it -- I expect it will help me a lot in journalism work.
