Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Caution...
Review: As a reminder to the reader, it should be noted that as moving as the story is, it is NOT the actual autobiography of Emma Smith, but a narrative of her life, based on research, and written in the first person. Readers may find this approach confusing/misleading. Still informative and provocative, the first hand accounts should be taken with a "grain of salt."

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Personal Walk Through History
Review: The story of Emma Smith in her own words is a powerful, personal and intimate view of the outstanding events of her life. Her words are simple and direct, the images sharp and poignant. It is a must read for serious student of "Mormon" history.
