Review: This book is amazing. Where else can you find out how many times the word THE is used in the Bible? Every word is listed, and there is a phenomenal, easy-to-use Greek and Hebrew concordance. Highly recommended to all Bible readers.

Review: This book is the most outstanding piece of literature ever composed. The Strong's Concordance allows the reader to refer back to the Hebrew, Chaldea, and Greek languages. The book is used exactly like a dictionary. Just look up the word and passage of interest, and with the number provided beside it turn to either the Hebrew or Greek section, depending of which book you are studying, and see what it means in the native language. By breaking down the word and possessing its orginial meaning, the reader can get a better understanding from God's word. If you are serious in studying God's word, then this is a must have study tool that must be added to your library immediately.

Review: This is a great tool for those who ever wonder about some of the strange translations from the Bible. One can truly see the rabbinical claim that there is another "language of the mysteries of God" woven in with Hebrew; thanks to the Strong's. Ever wonder why it says God, a perfect being, repents? [Ex. 32:14] Ever wonder why God, an all-powerful being, "rested" on the seventh day of creation? [Gen. 2:2] Strong's concordance helps the serious Bible student see what the original translators might have intended to write. This is a definite must-buy for people of all Christian religions and creeds.

Summary: THE FIRST BIBLICAL REFERENCE TOOL A STUDENT SHOULD PURCHASE
Review: This is simply one of the best study tools available in helping Bible students gain a better understanding of scripture. There are few resources that even compete. And it's one of the better deals around. However, be sure to get the full work. The Hebrew and Greek dictionaries, which aren't included in some versions, are valuable tools worth the extra few dollars. Many Hebrew/Greek lexicons and word study reference books are coded using Strong's numbering system.

The Greek and Hebrew Dictionaries are excellent for getting a basic gist of the languages, however, there is a case that the definitions are based on a classical, not necessarily koine Greek. The Hebrew is influenced by the Massoretic text. This book has everyword of the Bible listed and the Greek and Hebrew words they come from. The numbering systems work well to help you be able to find the Greek and Hebrew quickly. I think this is great as a home study tool. It is not good for a travel type concordance. If you are a serious Bible student wanting to study on the road, then Cruden's concordance in paperback is a good tool to supplement a concordance at the back of your Bible.

Review: This is the first tool any Christian must have after a HOLY BIBLE. (A Good study BIBLE preferably!!!) The only thing more essential in life is a Personal Walk with Jesus Christ.

Summary: Great tool for beginner and scholar!
Review: This Strong's Concordance is one of the most important components of serious bible study in my arsonal especially when used with an interlinear keyed to Strong's. Regardless of your choice of bible (NIV, KJV, NKJV, etc) a Strong's with a bible keyed to Strong's is essential even for the most basic of Greek studies for the novice and expert. Drawing scriptural EVIDENCE from all available resources regardless of personal preference is paramount to drawing intelligent conclusions from God's Word. Strong's has helped many people I know move from just repeating rhetoric they're taught to becoming thinkers who can rightly prove doctrine. And those that thought they weren't smart enough to know what the Greek says, now can understand.

Review: This, like Strong's Bible dictionary, is based on the KJV bible. Since the dictionary is abriged, his corcordance is too. Like the dictionary, this received 1 start because there is no 0 star rating.
