Review: This book is full of wisdom. It helps each of the sexes understand the other, and lays out a framework for growing the several kinds of love that make up the best marriages. If you read only one book on the interaction between lovers, this is the book. I recommend it before and during marriage, or even after...how I wish that I had known of it earlier.

Approaching his book in an easy to follow and practical way as well as biblically sound, Dr. Wheat has given us a book that acknowledges the fact that possibly only one partner in the marriage is concerned about making the marriage work, yet if the one partner is willing to 'hang in there' and work, the marriage can be saved. As a skeptic of counseling books in general, I highly recommend this book as the best I've ever read

Review: This book offers hope. It's an easy read, and gives the answers fast for those starving for answers to save their marriage, or just to improve it. Great lists of rules-write them down and carry them with you daily. Someday I look forward to reading his other works. Definately written by people who know what they are talking about firsthand.

Review: This is a tremendous book, because it gives you the only real guide to marriage, God's guide.Ed Wheat is obviously a man inspired by God to do His work. If your marriage is on the rocks, and mine is, I highly reccomend this book. If it's not on the rocks, then I still reccommend it, as it shows you specific biblical references to marriage and how to treat your partner.

Review: When my husband and I arrived at our honeymoon cottage, the lady of the house decided to leave this book out for us. Because we were busy doing other things, I was only able to read half way through the book. It is wonderful. We are still very much in love, since we just got married, but it contains a lot of life long advice, which I will hold on too. Its also very impressive how he completely bases his teaching on the Word of God, which is the only way to go.
