Summary: One of the most captivating books I have ever read!
Review: I have recently studied the book of Revelation in the Bible, which the "Nicolae" is based on, and have found "Nicolae" enhances my understanding of the end times. I could not put the book down, and kept wondering "I wonder how much of the end times will be like it is in this book." I literally held my breath through the tense parts and was upset when I finished reading it that it's sequal hasn't come out yet (It has now, and I wasted no time in getting!) If you're not a believer, "Nicolae" makes you think seriously about becoming one!

Summary: Slow, but can't put it down!
Review: I have read the first three books, and they really make you think about where do you really , really stand with Jesus. Good evangelism tools. However, these books are soooo slow. Everything just takes forever to wrap up and it does seem that it's purposely done to sell more books. After Tribulation Force, I decided not to buy any more. Weak characters, etc. Then Nicolae came out, and I felt it redeemed the series. I admire how they have thought out the theology and fit it into a compelling story. But , still, it is so drawn out it's irritating. That's why I gave it four stars- it's still really weak writing and just plain unrealistic at times. Still, you can't put it down! So give Nicolae a chance, although I can't remember the ending now. Need a gift for that unsaved ( or saved but needs reminding) male in your family? They will read it and will be changed!

Summary: KEEPS GETTING BETTER!
Review: "Nicolae" dwells deeper and deeper into the book of Revelation. With this book, you have the seven seal judgements taking place. There is also a hint of who the False Prophet might be but he has not been fully revealed yet. One can guess though. The last chapter will send a chill down your spine. I thank God, that I will not be here to see it.

Summary: Thrilling!!!
Review: The third book in this series proves that they just keep getting better. While the characters are not original, the events that they must face and survive make this book something hard to put down!

Summary: The book put a face on the anti-christ.
Review: This entire series is excellent. It is a must read for both "churched" and "unchurched". It makes you realize that we are not far from the one world system talked about in the book. When we consider all the things that are happening today, this book explains why.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Moving.
Review: If you are a Christian and haven't read this book, please do! It opened my eyes and I have recomended it to all my Christian friends. If you are not a Christian and have read this book, I hope it made you think very hard.

Summary: Outstanding adventure on our present future!
Review: This book is an outstanding addition to the Left Behind series. Lahaye and his partner have done yet again a great job in creating a real life type of story that anyone can relate to. Anyone who reads these books and doesn't "get it" is really sad. Like Rayford eludes in the books, if you make the choice God will make the change!

Summary: Could someone achieve total world power?
Review: The Tribulation Force now knows that Nicolae Carpathia is the Antichrist described in John's Book of Revelations, the final book in the New Testament. It is obvious to readers from the beginning that he is, but the scenes in which he takes control of worldwide leadership are shocking.

The Book of Revelations reveals seven seals that are the prelude to the last seven years of the End Times. Buck Williams, still able to maintain his lucrative position as headline writer, publishes a stunning article entitled "The Wrath of the Lamb" just before the worldwide earthquake (seal number six) flattens mountains, opens or closes streams, brooks, and lakes, and reduces the size of land mass by enveloping great sections in the churning chaos of the sea. This is prophesized by John the Revelator. These descriptions, I thought, were well written.

One of the main aspects of Nicolae's power is owning the media. Current laws do not allow one conglomerate to own controlling interests in radio, television, newspapers, magazines, or production companies. The Antichrist brings a large populace into his fold with promises and mind control. However, he owns it all. He combines all religions into one Global Religion under his appointed Supreme Pontiff, and takes on the tile of Grand Potentate of the Global Community.

While I was reading this book, there were recent political and communication changes in the United States that may allow a single entity to own more media control. These current changes made me wonder if a path is in the works for a single man to govern the world.

Again, the characters are underdeveloped. Rayford Steel marries a woman just introduced in this book while Chloe and Buck finally tie the knot. The Tribulation Force is still trying to draw Hattie Durham into their fold.

This is a fast action paced novel. Of course, I was committed to reading the series by this time, so I may not be the best judge. I enjoyed it, and immediately went to Book 4.

Summary: Great Reading
Review: About a year or two ago, my wife and mother in law and others in my family began reading the books in this series. I didn't notice them til this last August. Then I read Left Behind. I took me about a week. Immediately I was hooked. Since they'd already read Tribulation Force and were working on Nicholea, I was able to read the second book right away. This took 4 days to read. By the time I was ready to read Nicholea some one else was reading it. I had to wait about a month before they finished and got the book back. This book took 3 days. It's now hard for me to read anything else. Nothing else seems so real and alive. Now I get my first real taste of a wait, EIGHT MONTHS!!!! That's okay, take your time. It apparently works. God Bless you two for this Book.

Summary: I read the first 3 books of this series in one week!
Review: I'd seen this book at the christian book store several times but always thought "that's a guy's book". Last week I was going out of town for a business trip and decided to give "Left Behind" a try. I had to go find a christian book store in the city where I was in on business just to get the second book "Tribulation Force". Then I was headed to the airport to head home and had to stop by the christian book store yet again so that I could get "Nicolae". This series has not only been entertaining but I have learned and now understand the book of Revelations so much better. I look forward to reading "Soul Harvest". If they do make this series into movies, I sincerely hope the integrity of Lahaye and Jenkins is kept high by not only the script but by the actors who are chosen to portray the characters.
