Rating: Summary: Yac is gone... Review: The world is a much emptier place now that Mike Yaconelli is gone--he died October 30, 2003. No more books are to be written that have the deep love and the playfulness that Yac had. There are memorials being held in his honor around the world. As Tony Campolo quoted Jack Nicholson at the San Diego Memorial, "Yac made me want to be a better man..." You will be dearly missed Michael Yaconelli.

Rating: Summary: Great experience Review: This book can show you the true meaning of being a christian.
Rating: Summary: Can I PLEASE give this book 6 stars??? Review: This is the most moving book on spirituality and Christianity that I have ever read, and I have read a ton! Mike's way of telling a story and weaving it into his on-going account of the grace of God is so moving that in the books few pages, I found myself in tears (for the first time EVER reading a book) not just once but 3 or 4 times. I hope you read this and walk away from it with the same feeling I did; a renewed appreciation for God's love in my life for me JUST the way I am NOW! Not the way I could be someday. I was a mess yesterday, I am a mess today, I will be a mess tomorrow. Best book of the year!
Rating: Summary: An absolute MUST read!!!! Review: This is, without exception, one of the best books I have read in years! I jokingly refer to it as "Promise Keepers for guys who have trouble keeping their promise"!!! This book should be required reading for all Christians. It made me understand God's amazing love for me in a way no other book or sermon had ever done. I have given this book to both Believers and non-Believers. You might as well order several.....you'll want to hand them out to anyone you count a friend. It is a life changing book.
