Summary: Not a good book
Review: I was amazed to read all of the glowing reviews of this book that praised it as an excellent resource! This book has hardly any Biblical basis. It is more or less a fabrication of the author's own delusions. I am quite familiar with Scripture and what it says about dealing with evil spirits and this book couldn't be more off base!!! I agree with the one reviewer who advised to spend more time reading the Bible and less time with this nonsense. People who buy into this book on a hook-line-sinker basis should seriously reconsider their understanding of Scripture and the life of Christ!

In addition to the comments above, this book is dangerous! The author claims that he was having a heart attack and instead of seeking medical attention he called the church together to have a prayer meeting so that they could "cast out the demon of heart attack" -- if that's not lunacy with no Biblical foundation I don't know what is. I believe wholeheartedly that God heals people to this day but to have a heart attack and say it's due to demon posession is ludicrous. Seek medical attention first, cast out the demon later!!! Sheesh!

Summary: Great Information!
Review: If you are into spiritual warfare and getting people set free from spiritual bondage. This is your book. I've read over a dozen books on this subject and I like this book because it is "straight to the point." There is nothing fancy...just great information to get people free.

Summary: USEFUL!
Review: My hats off to the authors of this informative book.
A book on spiritual warfar and deliverance, information that is never outdated and will not be until the Lord returns.
I found the book to be Biblically sound and the examples used
very useful for all those that are engaging in spiritual warfar
or who are about to embark on a deliverance ministry.
A good handbook to keep around for future reference! Good job!

Summary: Where Has This Book Been All My Life!!
Review: Pigs In The Parlor is a life-changing, life-revealing book. It is an easy read and will answer the questions you have been asking about yourself (to yourself) forever. As I read it, family traits and members were revealed before my eyes. I would highly recommend this book to anyone searching for answers about their self. I would also recommend this book to ALL Christians. There are some who may not relate totally with this book but it does not negate the validity of the book. I loved it. I have passed it along to two others.

Summary: Not a good book
Review: The authors seem to endorse exorcisms in which the allegedly possessed person is held tightly by the practitioners, which the authors note frequently results in screams to be let go and vomiting. The authors recommend this technique for children. This book is a recipe for injury or death by smothering. The book also seems to lack scriptural basis for many of its claims, particularly its views of schizophrenia.

Summary: The Freedom Every Person Should Live With
Review: The Son of God said "Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free". This book has provided a very straight-forward explanation of demons and how they work. The reality of experiences the author shares have been very helpful to me and dozens of others in our church. I'm very thankful this book was introduced to me as it has helped me receive deliverance, and I've been able to help many others to deliverance from the bondage of the advesary.

Those who deny the kingdom of the advesary and/or it's existance WITHIN the lives of people are living proof of the subtilty that kingdom propogates. (1 Cor 2:14) Every Christian should read this book, get honest and humble before God. We ALL NEED DELIVERANCE.

Ever wonder where some of those evil thoughts in your head come from? They're not always from external attacks. Many are from the inside.
The information in this book will help anyone who has ever thought, "Well, this is just the way I am, I've tried to change but I just can't." Be not dismayed. By the power and authority of Jesus Christ, you can be delivered. Are you a procrastinator? Lazy? Worry Wart? Don't put it off any more...order the book and start down the road to spiritual recovery. Praise be to God who desires you to be free indeed.

Summary: Extremely Scary Book
Review: There is certainly truth in this book. As someone familiar with demonic influences, especially around addictions, I can say it wakes you up and confirms things you may only suspect. The techniques for resolution are somewhat limited and to me, not always healthy. Fighting demons is not as good as avoiding demons if you ask me.One good look at this book is educational, but ENOUGH! I wouldn't let my teenagers read it. In fact, just writing this review gives me goosebumps and creeps....Glad I read it, glad I'm passing it on, hope I never see it again...
