Rating: Summary: Another Jesus? Review: My pastor bought a several of these books to sell in our Pentecostal church. I read it and believe that this woman has had spiritual experiences, but from `another Jesus'.
She never tested the spirit of Jesus that came to her at the start. She just was told that he'd come to her every Monday for her trips to heaven.
Her Jesus told her that Christians that don't tithe won't make heaven.
He told her that her husband would serve him through her.
She would be getting a beautiful luxurious house and new car, and building a church. As for mansions in heaven, not every one will live in mansions like her heavenly one, because those ones are for very special children. It seemed that every few pages she was authenticating herself through these quotes from her Jesus -
"Daughter, you are a perfectly made vessel"
"My daughter, you are an End-Times prophetess, and you are living proof of My Word and My prophecies."
"You are ordained by your Lord"
"Sweetheart, you are My very special daughter in this last day."
"Now you could stand before millions, for you are perfectly trained."
"Even if you don't want to do this work, you have to do so, because I have chosen you to be an End- Time prophetess."
"..you have passed your test by scoring more than 100 percent."
It definitely comes across as if she is elevating herself through the whole book.
She talks about how she was writing the book like John wrote Revelation.
She also has a crucifixion experience where she claims to actually have felt some of the Lord's sufferings. She goes through a series of unlocking ceremonies where the Lord unlocks parts of her body to use. He calls this body-work. Someone show me that in Scripture!
The part that really disturbed me was the representation of the blood of Christ as follows-
"We sat down on the sand near the edge of the ocean. As the waves ebbed and flowed in front of us, an amazing thing happened. The edge of the water turned to blood. A dark red, foaming surf surged in front of us. It seemed as if the blood was filthy, and I asked, "Why is the blood so dirty?" "It is My blood, Choo Nam," He said. `It has washed away all the sins of My children.' "
Then it continues...
"We walked by the river where the tunnel is that I saw before, and I saw the river turn to blood. Jesus pointed out, `That is My blood- the blood I shed for My children.' "
Scripture teaches that the blood of Christ was brought into the tabernacle in heaven and put on the mercy seat as the offering for our sins. His Priestly ministry took place within the Heavenly Tabernacle as taught in Hebrews - particularly chapter 9. The blood has never been shown to be washing up on the ocean beach, or in a river. The most disturbing thing to me is the suggestion that the blood of Christ can be made dirty through soaking up the sins of everyone. She didn't say her book was supposed to be a representation of something like a parable, but said that everything she wrote were the exact words of Jesus to her.
Scripture says about sin -
Isa 43:25 I, [even] I, [am] he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
Hbr 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
Psa 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Mic 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
If God's Word is true, then our sins won't be washing up on some beach somewhere in the foam of dirty blood. Blotting out means to completely destroy, and make no record of it. Search it out yourself.
Scripture tells us about the sea and rivers in heaven. They are clean and crystal clear, not full of dirty blood.
Rev 4:6 And before the throne [there was] a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, [were] four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
Rev 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
The only time that blood is in the waters in Scripture is when it is as plagues, bringing corruption and death on the earth. This is not the blood of Christ.
Rev 16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead [man]: and every living soul died in the sea.
Rev 16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
Aside from the amusement of stained glass windows on the powerboats, and the electric start BBQ's, Choo's version of Heaven is quite boring. I believe that the Great Creator of the universe can do quite a bit better than that. She doesn't even mention the Heavenly Jerusalem. At best, her descriptions of the mansions are like earthly castles, carpeted and having cherry wood furnishings...powder rooms - PLEASE!!. She even talks about one of the streets being like the yellowbrick road in The Wizard of Oz. and a stairway being like the one in Gone with the Wind. Oh yes, there is a mountain called Animal Mountain where - you guessed it - the animals are.
It is my opinion that this book will be a big moneymaker for both her and the church she is attending. Her Jesus told her that the platform belongs to her, and the world is hers. I believe she is very honest and sincere about her experience, but what this Jesus told her doesn't line up with the Word. I can't accept this book as being valid.
If you are reading this book, please don't be caught up in the spectacular, but take what she says and find Scripture to back it up. You won't find it.
Rating: Summary: Letter to Choo Nam Review: Precious Sister in Christ, Choo Nam,I thank and praise God for your obedience and His persistent love! Heaven is So Real! completely changed my life. I now have real hope of Heaven and even more real closeness to my beloved Jesus. God has so set me free and blessed me indescribably through your book--or rather, His book. I can't tell you how much I cried and laughed and yearned for Jesus throughout the read. I felt as if I was there with you and Jesus walking along the beach, visiting Heaven and its glorious splendor. While reading, I had to stop reading often so blinded by the rivers of tears as I repented and heard his loving words. I experienced God's forgiveness, reconciliation and love through every word Jesus spoke. Jesus became so REAL to me! Now, two weeks after reading the book, I am still so happy, I don't know how to contain the joy of the hope of heaven. I feel like I am floating, living in unadulterated joy. Nothing bothers me anymore. Nothing can steal away this real joy, this wonderful hope of Heaven. I don't worry about anything. I don't get stressed over anything eventhough none of my external circumstances have changed. I am changed. I think about Jesus at every waking moment and can't - and certainly don't want to - get Him out of my mind. He so preoccupies all my thoughts. He is SO good. I am so eager each day to get on my knees and seek His face, His will, His Word. I love to be in His presence. Since I've read the book, the Scriptures - most especially the four Gospels - come alive! Reading Heaven is So Real! I was astounded and mesmerized by each word Jesus spoke. I had to read and re-read every precious word He spoke. He forgave my sins, healed my heart, and revived my backslidden, dying soul. I am eagerly sharing this book with my family and friends. Those who have read it already are as excited and encouraged as I am. I want the whole world to know what a great God we have. If I never meet you on this side of eternity, I know I will when I get to heaven. And as soon as I meet Jesus (which may take a while since I don't think I will ever be able to take my eyes off of Him when I see Him), you are the first person I want to meet to say "Thank you." God Bless You!
Rating: Summary: Heaven is so real Review: Someone passed me a copy and I happened to read the loose message from Choo Thomas to pastors and readers. How she claims that it is God's end time book and that He wants all to read it, instead of the Bible. This is the first hint at what leads me to believe that all that is written is pure imagination! She claims that God likes to barbecue and eat fish in heaven (pages 96 - 98); I thought that we are spirit in heaven; she even goes to a powder room with Jesus to change their clothes and crowns in heaven - garbage! She talks about male and female angels - Jesus taught us that angels don't have gender. The only thing that is real is that she shakes violently before she goes into the other realm - just like a spirit medium! It is so subtle - she keeps quoting the Bible, to lend credibility to her story. She teaches that none of our salvations are secure until the end - that we must do our best while we have the time. She should - we all should read Revelations 22:18-19: "I John solemnly warn everyone who hears the prophetic words of this book; if any add anything to them, God will add to their punishment the plagues described in this book. And if any take anything away from the prophetic words of this book, God will take away from them their share of the fruit of the tree of life and of the Holy City, which are described in this book" I am curious as to how she started going to heaven at 15, became a christian in 1992 and is a grandmother in 2003! It makes one wonder about the theology and doctrine of a lot of the leaders who have recommended the book - it exploits christians' guilibility and desperation to know about heaven and hell, which are real alright. You can read it but don't believe it!
Rating: Summary: Jesus is so real Review: Thank you Choo Thomas for your faithfullness in writing this book. It has helped me to be able to "see" heaven and Jesus in a more personal way. I had a hard time putting the book down once I started it. I think everyone should read it!
Rating: Summary: Life Changing Book! Review: There are not words enough to describe all the wonderful things that ¡°Heaven Is So Real¡± has done to my life and to others. Reading this book has changed my desires of owning a beautiful house on earth to entering the gates of New Jerusalem and living in a spectacular mansion in Heaven! The first time, I ever heard about ¡°Heaven Is So Real¡± was when Pastor Paul Yonggi Cho at Yoido Full Gospel Church in Korea was preaching about this amazing book. I was fortunate to get an English copy from the person who translated the book, but for others, they had to line up to buy a copy in front of the bookstore. Constantly, a sign saying ¡°Sold Out!¡± would be hanging outside the bookstore and people had to wait for the next day to buy a book. Thousands of copies were sold on the first day! After reading the book, my life changed! The biggest change is that I¡¯m constantly happy, peaceful, and so confident! All thanks to our Almighty Lord! South Korea has been very blessed with many powerful evangelists, missionaries, pastors, and churches can be seen all over the country. Yet there are so many Christians that have been blinded by sins and been led astray. ¡°Heaven Is So Real¡± came to our hands on a perfect time. I truly believe it is Jesus¡¯way of showing His love to us and for us to wake up. So many lives have been changed through "Heaven Is So Real!" People buy several copies to give to their friends and family members. Even some of my Sunday school children have read it and burning desires of our eternal home, Heaven have taken place within their hearts. My parents got 100 copies to use when we testify and to send to our friends in Asia, America, and Europe. My father who is a pastor and many other pastors who have read "Heaven Is So Real" constantly refers to the book in their preaching. He is now determined to preach about Heaven & Hell, the Holy Spirit's anointing, and about Jesus Coming & the End Times until the end. In ¡°Heaven Is So Real,¡± it is written that God has already prepared everything for us. What really took me aback was of what was written in the book that His Kingdom has been ready for a long time but so many of us are not ready for Him, because we love the world more than we love Him. There are really no words to define this book or God¡¯s wisdom and love! Therefore, I absolutely recommend that you read this book for yourself and share it with as many people as possible! This book has been out less that two months and it is the best seller in Korea. Praise the Lord. Let¡¯s God¡¯s will be done on earth as it is in Heaven! Maranatha! He is coming sooner than we think!

Rating: Summary: ERROR! Review: This book is a counterfeit, a deception, and demonically inspired.
I believe the author speaks the truth. She is experiencing spiritual encounters, but by which spirit? That is the question.
Her Jesus comes to her with a face she cannot see. He has demons peeking out at her from around his head. Her Jesus sends her into convulsions that she calls shakings. The results of these shakings cause her physical, disabling illness. Her Jesus shows her "his children" presently held in a purgtory-type state. "His children" are hopelessly waiting to be sent to hell. He also reveals to her a lake filled with his "filthy, dirty" blood that is intermingled with our sins. (This is in direct opposition to the pure Blood of the Lamb that was demonstrated and foretold through Temple practices and Biblical prophesy.)
Her Jesus has Choo Thomas at his side as he is worshipped by prostrate souls in his throne room; a posture she has no impulse to take herself. He gave her a crown to wear, an event that is yet to happen for all Christians rewarded at the Judgement Seat of Christ at the end of this age.
Choo Thomas elevates herself to the same status as John (who wrote the book of Revelation), Elijah and other prophetic Biblical writers as she, a self proclaimed prophetess, writes her last-days book. She tells us that the reading of her book by Christians everywhere is a necessary and pivital end-time event that must occur in order for last-days prophesy to be fullfilled. Jesus Christ, Himself, waits for Choo Thomas, alone, to set things in motion, single handedly, by the power of her visions, translations, the creation of this book, and her heavenly dance.
Choo Thomas' dance, taught to her by her Jesus, takes her approximately one year to learn and refine. She describes the elaborate, excruciatingly detailed movements she must practice for hours and days and weeks and months. She obsessively masters this dance during a period of isolation where she must memorize the numeric sequence of how many times her wrist twirls, etc., and her Jesus tells her she is being prepared for a final delivery of this phrophetic last-days dance before her church congregation. It must be performed with one hundred percent accuracy. This is her misssion and she must not fail.
Choo Thomas arrives at the appointed church on God's appointed day after being told it must be danced without error in front of these people but no one in church leadership will allow her the dance!
She takes us to a heaven that has the tortured souls and flames of hell within the sight of heaven's inhabitants. Her heaven shows us the "powder rooms" or bathrooms within its castles. Won't we have a glorified body?
This heaven has walls covered with mirrors so she can gaze at her own image after she changes into her heavenly robe and crown. Sadly, the central theme of this book seems to parallel this thought. The glory of this author's last-days exploits overshadows the glory of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords from its beginning to its end. It is difficult to read past the repetitive praises of Choo Thomas to find the Holiness of our God!
Choo Thomas sees her mother, burning in the flames of hell, yet she associates her spiritual visions to that of a gift generationally passed down to her from this same woman. I fear that may be true.
I sincerely pray the ongoing torment this woman is experiencing will soon come to an end. I pray freedom for her mind and healing for her soul. May God's Light of Truth bring peace and deliverance to her.
If you must read this book, I advise you read it carefully.
Rating: Summary: Jesus is So Real! Review: When I first received Heaven is So Real I hungrily read it, completely open to Choo Nam's account of heaven. Little did I know that Jesus would soon be talking directly to ME. He was using His end-times book to communicate with me! I literally fell in love with Jesus; his gentle words and loving kindness were more than I'd ever imagined or hoped for.
This book completely changed my life. It made me yearn for Jesus and long for Him like I've never longed for anyone else. Late at night as I was reading the section on His celebrating on Christmas, I lay down on my bed meditating on His words and meditating on Choo Nam's experience of Heaven. As I lay on my back I experienced abdominal spasms and my body would involuntarily jerk up and down. It was the most intense and most wonderful experience I've ever had.
I firmly believe that God is using Choo Nam and her book to reach other receptive souls. I pray for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, and for those souls that haven't been saved, that they too will receive this book with open hearts.
