Rating: Summary: Insightful book on what being a man really means! Review: A Christian book on why men are the way they are. It talks about men as they relate to the church, to women and sex. It also touches on the issue of homosexuality in a way not typical in most books. Relatively easy reading even for a light reader. Read this book before you have children and definitely before they are teenagers.
Rating: Summary: Reclaiming genuine masculine strength Review: A generation of unfathered men today fear masculine strength because they've never seen it modeled in a healthy way that uplifts others--neither as hard, religiously-correct law nor soft, politically-correct tolerance, but rather, with a balance of truth and grace. If you want a true manhood, free both from macho violence and alienation and from passive compliance, this book is for you.
Rating: Summary: Everyone should read this book Review: Actually, only people who are men with "issues", or who know men with "issues"--I guess that is everybody.I am just about finished with the book, and think it is one of the best things to help me "grow up" (I am pretty old already). It has a Christian world view.

Rating: Summary: A MUST for ALL Christian Men to READ!! Review: I remember when I first bought this book 4 years ago. It took me 3 months before I got the nerve to read it. When I read it, I saw a HUGE part of myself that was buried deep inside. I was able to come to terms with myself and be free from the bondage of my father wounds. Its sad to see other Christian Men struggle. Many will resent me saying this, many will rejoice because they've know what it is to see their own wounds. It's nice to know the Father God and how he heals these wounds. For 4 years, I've been rejoicing of what the Lord has done. I share my testimony to anyone that will allow me to bend their ears!! It's time for the men of God to FACE their "STUFF" and be the men the Father has called us to be!!
Rating: Summary: Seven stars *******! Review: Magnificent! After reading it, manliness appears as similar to the sun: joyful, strong, warm, bright, direct, straight-forward, generous, elevated, life-bringing, pure, affirming and defining of itself and of its surrounding. A laser operation at inferiority complexes as well as pride; at aggressivity and weakness; at spite and lily-liveredness; at sex-centredness and genderlessness. Very deep and solid wisdom, superb insighfulness.

Rating: Summary: This book should be read by every man Review: This book is fantastic. It touches on the niggling spot inside every man who is mixed up about who to be, what to feel, and how to act. Dalbey places manhood right back where it belongs, under the Lordship of Christ. This book presents the only workable solution to the masculine search for identity.
