Rating: Summary: Outstanding! Review: Christians desperately need books of this kind to think about God's view of human culture. The author does a wonderful job of laying out a biblical theology of culture. I especially appreciated his demonstration of the progressiveness of God's redemptive work in culture as well as in us! If you are tired of "culture wars" and "boycott lists" as the only interaction many evangelicals have with culture- this book is for you.The book is well written and solidly argued. A must for anyone interested in reforming all of life for the glory of God!

Rating: Summary: A cultured perspective on culture Review: Many Christian books on culture focus exclusively on the most pompous form of culture - politics. Hegeman takes us a step back to our cultural presuppositions. Laying out the biblical themes of Eden and the New Jerusalem, he sets the stage in a very practical way so that we can act out our culture based on something more profound than the mid-term election.
