A TRUE Satanist, or NOT.....and if you ARE, you were BORN that way." Too many Satanophobes give it only a visceral glance, because of their own fear & ignorance. And unfortunately, far too many "black sheep" as well. If you are a Satanist, this book will identify you to yourself. The Satanic Bible is a landmark opus for the liberation of the human animal.

Summary: LaVey offer a logical alternative to believing in a falsegod
Review: Anton Szandor LaVey offered a smart and logical alternative to religion in general in circa. 1966 when he founded the Church of Satan. Instead of believing in a god we will never see, Lavey offers believing in yourself as your own god, knowing that you control your own goods and evils. I turned to Satanism because i realized i never truly believed in the myth of god, but i always believed in SAtanism, even though i didn't know it. Read this book for an introduction to this very practical philosophy, and turn your back on god!

Summary: The Satanic Bible: Not what many think it is!
Review: When I mention to my friends that I have a copy of the Satanic Bible they instantly get a mental image of black robed druids drinking goat blood and sacrificing babies. That is just a lie that christians of long ago have sown into the heads of society. LaVey has opened my eyes up to the guilt-trip that is the christian religion. We have been raised believing that our natural thoughts and impulses are sin. We are just human, and the Satanic Bible teaches us that it is okay to be just that. I am not much of a reader, but I had trouble putting this book down. LaVey lays down the satanic philosiphies in a very straight forward manner, which a lot of times mocks other religions, but he does get his point across. If the Satanic Bible is read with an open mind it makes a lot of sense. HAIL SATAN!!!

Summary: A Must Read!
Review: This is a great book and I would recommend it to all who would like to gain an insight into Satanism. Reading this book would provide the other side of the argument. Christians have always condemmned Satanism for everything that has gone wrong. Obviously they have yet to read this great book. Instead of taking everything the (Christian)bible to be the biblical truth, one should first read this book before jumping to conclusion. Only then can you make an informed decision. You won't regret it!

Summary: Great book! More philosophy than religion.
Review: This book is a must read for anyone with any interest in the Occult or Satanism. Whether or not you are a believer in LaVey's views or not is irrelevant, although I will point out here that I am a card carrying member of the Church of Satan. But I digress. This book presents an alternate lifestyle. Based more on idealogy than religion, this book definitely is worthy of at least a library check-out for perusal. It is logical, concise, and very frank. The rituals and incantions are VERY interesting, and can work when properly used. So I highly recommend this book.

Summary: I loved every single word in this book being a belever in it
Review: I fell in love with this book after reading it. It is one of my all time favorites. I liked the keys in the back. I love all the spell of lust. I have notesed that if you will for the spells to work they tend to. I also have frends that have this book and they love the book as much as I do they tend to read and recite the passages. So I for one love this book. and that is my view any one who wants to think other wise can and I am not saying that what I beleve goes but if you read and comprehend it I think you will injoy it.

Summary: A very "Open your eyes to the surrounding world" outlook.
Review: When I read this book, I kept skeptisism as my watchword. After reading it, however, I realized that if this is insanity, more people truly need to be insane. The book's best quality is that it causes you to look at yourself through someone else's eyes, using their "moral" values, which is a difficult for most. If you read it, keep an open mind and you shall benefit a great deal more.

Review: I have read the satanic bible countless times. I have my own copy at home. I enjoy reading it and doing a few of the rituals. If anyone needs a good book of the church of satan. It is this one. It teaches many things you need to know. It is a very good book. I enjoy it very much

Summary: This book is for Christians,as well as any open minded peeps
Review: This book isn't just for Satanists. I doubt anybody will even read my resume of the book, but oh well. I am a Christian, but I do have an open-mind. I feel that this is the problem with many of todays Christians. I feel that by reading this book, not only did I discover a religion, I also deepened my faith. I feel that to buy this book is great, but to give this book is even better. You'll probably get some funny looks, when someone sees this book on your bookshelf, so give the person a copy, or let them barrow yours. Tell them, you don't expect them to follow the book becasue you don't, but just to read it, so you'll both have a better view on Satanism.
