Rating: Summary: An immediate zing in my heart and soul! Review: Well, my friends, I rarely come across a book that is an immediate zing in my heart and soul! Sharon Warren's Magnetizing Your Heart's Desire is an amazing book that will "EMPOWER" YOU beyond what you could ever imagine. This book covers everything! It has many very specific tools on how to truly magnetize to yourself all your deeply-held heart's desires in your life. I absolutely adore this outstanding book! It is so comprehensive and fun. The rare-earth magnets are brilliant and a joy to use to understand the law of attraction. I am fascinated by the Creation Box and how powerful it is. This book will teach you how to magnetize all your heart's desires. I have featured Sharon's book in my product catalog, as well as on my web site at MPowerTV.com. It truly contains fresh, life changing tools in every chapter and I want to share this inspired book with everyone who is excited to live on purpose. Michele Blood, MPowerTV.com & Musivation Intnl.
Rating: Summary: A 'feel good' book but not very practical Review: When I started reading the book, I was psyched up "yeah! Positive thinking!" Nothing to it, right? Wrong. Because if you're like me, you didn't pick up the book because there's nothing wrong in your life. You want to find something that actually works. So this book tells you to ignore the bad points on and focus on the good points so that more good will follow. But here's the clincher, you can't get mad, upset, frustrated or be depressed...EVER. Because if you do, you set the ENTIRE process back. You might as well have stayed in your bad mood. So if you think and hope REALLY hard, you get what you think you deserve. And of course if you don't get anything, you're packing resistance somewhere in your thought patterns, which puts you on a path of self-doubt, worry and inevitably more 'negative thinking'. The author never says what to do if you have trouble generating positive thoughts, what to focus on if you have absolutely nothing good going in your life, because like most people who attend her seminars, Warren already has what she wants in life. She just wants MORE of it. There's truth to what she says, but I think there's more to generating miracles than just 'feeling good'. If there wasn't, I'd head for the nearest drug counter and save myself the effort. Also, the book was almost 200 pages long and only 10 pages were free of redundancy. Warren is an avid student of the Abraham-Hicks philosophy and quotes regularly from the books and tapes...
Rating: Summary: Compilation, not original Review: While I agree the magnets that come with the book are fun and demonstrate the power of magnetizing in a tangible way, unofortunately they are about the only original thing in the book. This book is perfect for anyone who wants a volume that is a compilation of a ton of already known quotes, jokes, poems and even a Hallmark greeting card sentiment. There is a lot of the Abraham-Hicks material as well but I would recommend you go straight to Abraham-Hicks to get that. There is some original work in this book but not much. It's really more like the author had a huge file of clippings and put them in a book. It's like it all got dumped in there without much flow. I like an author to take concepts and put their own spin on it but Sharon Warren merely compiled a plethora of other people's concepts - no spin, just two cool little magnets. I would highly recommend any of the Catherine Ponder books, Wayne Dyer books, and the Abraham-Hicks materials.
