Summary: This Book is different and appears to be inaccurate.
Review: Besides being way overpriced this book is inacurate and I feel there are much, much better books out there that cover this subject correctly.

Summary: Book of Changes and the Unchanging Truth
Review: I have been working with this book for some 2 years, studying the I Ching. While it is not an easy read- particularly the first 11 chapters, it providews an in-depth look at the roots of the I Ching and the development of the hexagrams and Chinese cosmology. The hexagrams themselves are lovingly examined with commentaries that provoke thought and self -inspection. It may not tell you whether to take the job or get married, but it will give you an insight into an aspect of a situation that you might not otherwise consider. Master Ni provides many wonderful stories in his commentaries that provide useful tools for living consciously and responsibly.

Summary: The paradigm for Daoist cosmology and energetics
Review: I have used this book as a fundamental source in my Daoist/Shaolin self-cultivation and have gained immeasurable benefit from the elucidation and experience of Master Ni. This volume is a distillation of a life-long practice and many of the principles of the Daoist Canon. Any serious practitoner of Tai Ji Quan or Qi Gong should have this as a ready reference, since the principles of th I Ching are the fundamental source of these methods of cultivation. This is a gift from the Jade Realm!

Summary: This book is not a accurate or written by a taoist master
Review: This author writes books on almost everything and puts himself out as an "achieved master" and his way is the only way.... If you want a completely slanted and biased view from an "achieved master" that is the "ONLY" one with any knowledge...then this book is for you....

Summary: The Book of Changes & the Unchanging Truth
Review: This book is a must for anyone who is looking for spiritual guidance. Master Ni (Hua Ching Ni) offers the reader straight-forward descriptions of I Ching concepts, along with many other related topics. He explains how the I Ching and nature are connected. His perception of the I Ching hexagrams contains the same gentle wisdom that comes forth in all of his books. He brings the I Ching principles to life by giving us realistic guidelines for daily living, using his experiential knowledge of ancient traditions passed down to him through generations of spiritual masters.

Summary: The best ever I-Ching
Review: This is really two books in one. The first 200 pages or so gives a great deal of information on the traditional Taoist astrology and numerology that underlies the I-Ching. As valuable as this information is, it is the translation of the I-Ching itself where this work really shines. It is evident the author has a deep understanding of both the meaning of this text and the culture form which this teaching arose. In several instances the author gives facinating insites on ancient Chinese life and culture while explaining the meaning of the hexagrams. A great contirbution to the world's understanding of this classic text. A must for all readers from casual to scholars.
