Summary: Fantastic Fun!!
Review: It's by far the most entertaining book I've ever read on the subject of astrology, but amazing how accurate it is! Definately a must have for anyone interested in astrology and a good laugh for those who aren't!

Summary: Be amazed by the predictions.
Review: Let me start off the review with the following disclosures. I am not a believer in astrology. I do not consult charts, 900 phone numbers, or daily/weekly horoscopes prior to making everyday decisions. Despite all that, I at least found this book to be highly entertaining. Each chapter of Sexual Astrology is devoted to an astrological sign and details the sexual proclivities of people born under that sign. It provides advice on making the first move, erogenous zones, and breaking it off. Finally, the chapter closes with a compatability index indicating the likelihood of a successful short-term and/or long-term relationship with people of other (or the same) signs. I think my friends and I found this book to be entertaining because of the accuracy of the frank, graphic descriptions (e.g. down to specific deviant sexual acts). As a non-believer in astrology, I am not sure _why_ the predictions are so spot on, but they are. One theory I have is that we want to believe in the predictions so we fit the story of our lives to the description, but that is a psychological explanation way beyond the scope of this review. In any case, this is fun book to read and definitely a conversation starter if you leave it lying on your coffee table or nightstand.

Summary: Very informative but could be so much more!
Review: Sexual Astrology is a great book if you would like to find out just what your partner likes sexually and whether you are compatable or not. But I would like to see such a unique book as this include more about the sexual desires of one's mate and even reach deeper into the astrology combinations tht one could work with. All in all, it is fun, but after 10 minutes, you have already read the sign you are inquiring about.

Summary: Wish I hadn't bought it
Review: The reviews sounded good and caused me to buy this book for a little insight and maybe entertainment. Alas, I was highly disappointed after reading it. It made strange comments that I felt were way off target. Hoaky is a good word to describe it and looking at the publication date (1979) came as no surprise to the then-trendy style of writing.

Summary: Worst sex related astrology book I've ever read!
Review: This book has got to be possibly the worst sun sign sex book ever written. It should be called "Sexual Astrology for the Mentally Ill." The claims it makes are absurd and outrageous. Taurus's being turned on by feces and filth, cancers being turned on by incest, Scorpios being turned on by extreme Sadomasochistic sex. That's just to name a few. I was surprised it didn't claim that Sagittarius was turned on by bestiality. It takes a trait of a sun sign and intensifies that trait into sexual perversion. My friends and I even joke about this book because everyone who I've shown this book to can't believe the claims that are made about their sign. It is completely inaccurate. The only positive point it has, is that it starts out SOMEWHAT accurate and then it seems to turn into a sick list of what sun signs maybe with sexual or mental problems would be into. I would not recommend this book to anyone, especially those who aren't familiar with astrology.

Summary: Good for a few laughs... only
Review: This book is good for a few laughs at best. About 10% of the things in the book really click with everyone. For the most part there are parts of the book that simply do not apply to everyone. So read it with a bunch of friends and have some laughs and do not take everything in that book to be true or you may burn in some relationships.

Summary: Are You Kidding?
Review: This book is obviously a bit dated. Many of the author's statements written in the late 70's are totally unsubstantiated by any facts or figures. For example, the author states that a Scorpio male will not take NO for an answer even to the point of rape. The author tries to substantiate these broad conclusions by referring to one or two personal acquaintances or hearsay. For the Pisces female, the author states that her dependent nature can lead her into a master-slave relationship. Again, this just doesn't jive with the current BDSM activity and communities I've known. Yes, the Piscean female can be dependent but master-slave relationship? Just how did the author reach that conclusion? Overall an entertaining book that does offer some insights into the personalities of others but readers should bear in mind that the book was written in the late 70's and not take it as absolute gospel.
