Summary: Dichotomy to Me
Review: As with many books I read, the first half or so often leaves me cold--a lot of it being a rehash or review of basic concepts etc. This book fits that model. The first 5/8 or so didn't do much for me; I even found it a bit annoying. But, I like to read a book from cover-to-cover and see what it really holds. I'm glad I did. Towards the end of the book, the author provides a step-by-step experiential guide to Trekcho practice with pitfalls, recommendations, etc. The wording is personal, straight-forward, and very clear. He also has a very interesting description of the sky exercise. Thus, I do recommend reading (preferably buying and retaining for reference) this book. Maybe you'll like the 1st part better than I did, who knows?
