Pleasant); and "Be Careful What You Play With" (Wayne), here are 29 tales of the supernatural that will raise the hair on the back of any reader's neck!
Rating: Summary: Great ghost stories Review: I am an avid ghost story reader who lives in Michigan, so when I saw this book I grabbed it. Rev. Hunter gives life to some of the best true ghost stories I've ever read. I recommend this book to anyone who loves the genre.
Rating: Summary: Great read!... Well worth it!... Review: If stories of the super natural interest you, Then this book is a must read. I have an extensive libary of books on the subject and this is one of my fav's. I am also a memmber of a ghost hunters group here in southern Michigan. I found the authors style of writting real neat and interesting. Although its not "spine chilling" Its a good down to earth read. ENJOY

Rating: Summary: Not as spinetingling as I'd hoped, but still a good read. Review: If you're a ghost story afficianado, then this book is for you. It's a good read with 29 tales of hauntings around the state. Unfortunately for the Ghost Hunter, only about four or five of the locations presented in the book are complete enough to visit personally. Most hauntings are in private dwellings, the owners of which refused to have their real names published for privacy reasons. This matters little, however, as the most interesting haunts are in public places. Reverend Hunter repeatedly refers to himself as a ghost hunter; however, I consider him to be a collector of ghost stories. These are not scientific reports done with traditional ghost hunting equipment. In fact, only on rare occasions does the author mention bringing so much as a camera to document the hauntings he "investigates". Photos of locations abound, but only to give you a sense of what the sites look like. There is no spirit photography here. Still, the stories are intriguing, and the few locations with serviceable directions given are worth checking out.
Rating: Summary: Just Fine Review: It's a great book. However, I am just as much interested in visiting haunted palces as ready about them. I have both of the authors books, and he rarely gives address's unless it is as buisness. Definetley a good read though. Don't read it before bed!
Rating: Summary: A Great Book Review: This book caught my eye because I am from Southern Michigan myself. I like the way the author not only told the case story of the haunt, but also told about the setting of the city. I'd just like to find the haunted house in my hometown of Marshall..... Anyways, I'd recommend this book to anyone who has even the slightest interest in ghostly activity. It was a book I definatly had trouble putting down!
