Rating: Summary: A Deeply Moving Book and a Good Read Review: This is a very meaningful book to me. I too am Jewish with a Zen background. I began Zen meditation at San Francisco Zen Center in 1967, and continue meditation practice though not as formal. The author has a gift of speaking from his heart with the richness of his spiritual journey. His book is written with openness and an easy to read style. This makes it easy to see how Zen experiences flow into meditation which doesn't have to take place in a formal Zen setting to enrich people's lives in Jewish settings and beyond. Alan Lew, thank you for writing this book.
